One sees in the Herald Tribune in capital headlines that John Wood, vice- president in charge of ballyhoo for B. Altman, addressed the New York State Publishers Association in January.

Lennox Rhodes has changed domicile to 447 Rampart Boulevard, Los Angeles. Lyman Babcock Fogg was born on January 16 to the Lloyd Foggs.

Every so often a letter comes from Dan Daniell, denizen of East Millinocket, Me., and after passing the time of day this creative genius will vouchsafe that another son has been born to the Daniells. Jere Roger was born November 28, 1932, their fourth son; and the male parent gets the 1933 Award for Understatement because of his comment that his is " a very livelyhousehold at times."

If it shall appear to any of the readers of this column that the news is slight this month, they should also remember that the faculty of divination has never been acute in the scribe.
