The June notes always present an excellent opportunity to rummage through my tattered files to ensure that no juicy tidbit has been overlooked in the rush to meet Dana Grossman's deadlines. And sure enough, it happened again. I would have felt terrible if I'd omitted the very first news that Neil Korsen has ever sent since graduation: "I'm married to the former Phyllis Adams and our daughter Anna was born last December. We're living in Jackman, a town of 1,200 near the Quebec border, where I'm playing country doctor for a few years after a residency in Portland. We welcome visitors anyone heading for Quebec Winter Carnival would pass through town."

James O'Neill, another lapsed correspondent, writes: "You probably thought I had disappeared off the face of the earth! Well, I'm happy to report that I am married and the proud father of three boys: Eugene, Tipper, and James III. After a stint with my father in Laconia I moved to Cleveland, where I am currently helping minority organizations with civil rights violations and litigation. My wife Pooksie, a 1971 graduate of Katherine Gibbs, is currently working for the new U.S.F.L. franchise, the Cleveland Strongmen. Any '75s in the area should stop by. See you at the tenth reunion!"

"I still haven't been able to leave beautiful Hanover," claims Michael Sandoe, referring to his tragic incarceration for failure to pay the College bill before graduation. "My wife Cori and I have three children now Andrew, sev- en; Christina, five; and Elizabeth, three." (New Hampshire pioneered conjugal visits for non- violent inmates of college prisons.) "I finished my M.B.A. in December 1982 and I'm currently a mortgage officer with the Dartmouth National Bank. I still like the area and quiet country living."

This month's most laconic life report comes from Michael Hutton: "Currently am a coordi- nator and family therapist of an agency serving adolescents; also part-time editing work on a psychological journal and working on a Ph.D. in psychology." Michael, you're blocking. I assume this is at Stanford, since the card comes from Palo Alto.

John and Peg Lagnese write from Spokane, Wash.: "I hope all is well with everyone. We are enjoying the Pacific Northwest but we hope to get back east sometime in the next few years. I'm working as a faculty member at a family practice residency affiliated with the University of Washington. Peg is a pediatrician in the Air Force, repaying them for financing her education. We are having a great time but we miss friends and family being so far away."

"There's No Business Like Show Business" Department: Steve Severson '74 kindly sent me a clipping from the Denver Post, which reported that Peter Hackett has been named associate artistic director of the Denver Center Theater Company. Peter becomes the chief officer, in charge of the theater company, its productions, and the staff. His credits at D.C.T.C. during the past three years include director of TheBuckhorn Exchanges and assistant director of TheHostage. Congrats, Peter.

Peter Wolcott is alive and thriving in Tempe, Ariz. He's still working in the finance department of semi-conductor giant Intel, and he spends his time fixing up a house he and Sue bought, sailing Hobie Cats, and enjoying his two boys Brandon, three, and Jeffrey, one. Sue works three days a week as a surgical nurse. Peter is currently planning a sailing cruise in the Gulf of Mexico, which sounds terrific (deserted beaches, cheap Cuervo, avast matey, etc.).

And at last confirmation of the rumors that have been swirling for months. I received an invitation to the marriage of Jane Post and Bob Vaeth, on May 28 in Mantoloking, N.H. By the time you read this, the deed will be done. So Bob Sullivan wasn't putting me on. All the best to Kid and Jane.

That's it for another year. Many thanks to all my faithful correspondents who keep me supplied with news. I don't know what I'd do without them. After all, I can't make up all this stuff. Have a wonderful summer. You too, Dana.
