Portland Meeting

The Dartmouth College Alumni Association of Maine had their annual meeting Feb. 10, at which meeting the following officers were elected for the ensuing year:

President—Carrell K. Pierce '29, 93 Exchange St., Portland, Me.

Vice-President—F. P. Leavitt '23. Secretary and Treasurer—Theodore R. Brownlee '29, 192 Middle St., Portland, Me.

We had good attendance and an excellent meeting. Clarence G. McDavitt 'OO gave us a great talk on the athletic situation at Hanover, and more important gave us an insight of the problems of the Athletic Council. He created much good will and confidence in the Council's judgment. I should personally recommend most strongly that he be urged to meet with other alumni groups who might be at all sceptical about the management of athletics.

The movies were fine and we appreciated the opportunity of seeing them.
