Chicago Club Plans

The new president of the Chicago Dartmouth Club, "Smiling Sam" Banning '00, announces his determination to get out a larger number of men for the weekly luncheons. These affairs are held every Wednesday at Mandel's. Nate Caldwell '25, the well-known radio man, has been appointed to head the luncheon committee. Recent, luncheons have shown the new administration's success in getting a larger attendance.

A brief discussion was held on the possibilities of arranging for some kind of a gathering place for the out-of-town alumni who will be fortunate enough to be able to come to the Century of Progress Exposition this summer. Various suggestions are being considered, but as yet nothing definite has been decided. We hope to be able to give you an interesting bit of news on this subject in the near future.
