In the place of "notes" concerning our living members, it is the sad duty of the Secretary to make a draft on 32 members, payable on sight, not in "legal currency." This, when translated/means that Gregory and Lougee are the only men of the class who have reported since last spring. Both of these men find themselves with a pleasant and busy summer behind them, and now with enough "New Hampshire granite left in their veins" to face courageously the long winter ahead.
