Class of 1888

In the place of "notes" concerning our living members, it is the sad duty of the Secretary to make a draft on 32 members, payable on sight, not in "legal currency." This, when translated/means that Gregory and Lougee are the only men of the class who have reported since last spring. Both of these men find themselves with a pleasant and busy summer behind them, and now with enough "New Hampshire granite left in their veins" to face courageously the long winter ahead.

Please read '88 Necrology for account of Fisher's great work since he left Hanover 46 years ago. The Secretary has quoted freely from an article in the June issue of the Railway Post Office Journal, which the editor kindlv sent. ,
