The weekly class luncheon meetings started October 1 at the Dartmouth Club in New York City. These are purely informal gatherings, which we hope will be well supported this winter, as plans can then more easily be discussed and formulated for the evening dinners. On November 15 or 16 a class dinner will be held at the Club, and we hope that the members of the "old guard" who used to support these dinners so well will again come forward.
The second annual Princeton game luncheon will take place at the Princeton Inn November 24. Last year this was a very successful occasion, and we want to double the attendance this year. No reservations are necessary, so bring all your guests and come to the Inn by 12 o'clock at the latest.
Congratulations are due Curley Carr for his successful results in raising the class standing for the 1934 Alumni Fund frotn 62d place to 55th, with an increase of total contributions from 22% to 33% of the class. Curley is still connected with the firm of Eaton and Howard, investment managers, and lives in Hingham, Mass. He reports a new addition to the Carr family, Allan Geoffrey, born May 18, 1934.
Larry Nourse writes from Norton, Mass., where he is superintendent of the Norton-Plainville schools, sending some family pictures, which make a good addition to the class collection woefully small and incomplete, by the way.
Ev Robie, the busy pedagogue of Stamford, Conn., writes in his usual breezy style of a happy summer spent at Camp Mon-O-Moy On Cape Cod. Three class sons came under his direction there Bob Gerrish, Bob Baxter, and his own Dick Robie. Sounds like a good training camp for sons of Seventeen. Any chance of special rates, Ev?
