FRED S. APPLETON occupies a trusted position in the sate deposit box departmem of the First National Bank of Boston. He has been connected with this bank for several years. His son Scott, a graduate of New Hampshire University, is employed as an engineer for a contractor in Nashua, N. H.
HERMON HOLT continues to practice law busily in Boston. His father, Hermon Holt of Claremont, N. H., Dartmouth 1870, is one of the College's oldest alumni. His son, Hermon Holt, Dartmouth 1938, is one of the College's youngest freshmen. Three from the same family of the same name and in the Dartmouth succession constitute an unusual record.
MORSE is connected with the investment dealers and brokers, Soucy, Swartswelter & Co., 185 Devonshire St., Boston. This company is high standing, and Sport states that in spite of hard times he manages to make both ends meet.
GOVERNOR TENT is still a gentleman farmer in Hatchville, Mass. One of his daughters lives with him and another is married and living in Sweden.
PA ROLLINS and his wife joined forces with Balch and his son last March in a trip through Santo Domingo. As Billy Balch has worked in that country for a number of years he was in a position to act as guide, and as a result Pa reports a most enjoyable and profitable time. Pa Rollins also visited last summer "Bum" Morrill at his estate called "Enniscorthy," located near Charlottesville, Va., "Bum's" son is at present in the law school of the University of Cincinnati. Just at this time Henry Ford has caused to be erected and dedicated a monument to a great educator of a former generation, McGuffy, author of many school readers. McGuffy was Morrill's grandfather.
SUMNER SARGENT has moved from Epping, N. H., to Newburyport, Mass., and has turned from a lifetime occupation in the ministry to the management of a store at 269 Merrimac St.
