Council Elections
April 1934

Early in April ballots will go to all alumni o£ more than three years' standing for the annual election of members to the Alumni Council. Polls close June 10 and voters are urged to return their ballots to the secretary of the alumni association at once.

Arthur H. Ruggles '02 of Providence was voted the honor of being the only nominee from the New England States. He will therefore succeed himself as a member of the Council for three years beginning July i, 1934.

In the Middle and Southern States, the following three alumni were nominated and their names will appear on the election ballots: Morton B. French '03, New York City; Sumner "B. Emerson '17, Philadelphia; Osmun Skinner '28, New York City and Easton, Pa.

Central States district has two nominees: William D. Knight '08, Rockford; and William H. Bemis '18, Cleveland.

Luther S. Oakes '99, Minneapolis, was the only nominee from the Western States. He will succeed Paul W. Loudon '14 of Minneapolis, whose second term will expire June 30'.

In the Rocky Mountain and Pacific States Robert E. More '13, Denver, was nominated to succeed himself. He is therefore elected for a second term beginning July 1. 1934.

Notification of nomination in the three districts where nomination was equivalent to election, since only one nominee was chosen, will be given to all alumni residing within those districts.
