TWENTY DARTMOUTH undergraduates, having qualified for the Civilian Pilot Training Course sponsored as a defense measure by the Civil Aeronautics Authority, began flight training at the White River Junction airport early in October. Dean Frank W. Garran of Thayer School is acting as coordinator of the course, assisted by Prof. Richard H. Goddard '20, who is teaching meteorology to the student flyers, and Prof. Arthur N. Daniels, who is giving instruction in navigation. Flight instruction is being handled by Maurice L. Bugbee of the Twin State Airport at White River.
