Mr. David S. Austin is a member of the executive committee for the state of New Hampshire in the New England Council.
The Secretary received recently a letter from Ned Bartlett, vice-president and general manager of the Hooker Electrochem- ical Company in Niagara Falls, N. Y. He has just recently returned from the Pacific Coast. He made the trip out to San Francisco by aeroplane, leaving Buffalo at 4:30 in the afternoon and landing in .San Francisco the next afternoon about 4:30, Pacific time. He attempted to fly back, but owing to the bad weather over the state of Nebraska, was forced to land in that state. He arrived safely in Newark, N. J., landing not greatly behind scheduled time. Ned wrote of attempting to locate Kid Vail in Florida through one of his friends, and found out that he was living at 640 Ave., San Antonio, Miami, Coral Gables, Fla.
The reunion committee is sure of a good representation from Chicago, as word has been received that Earl Herman, Li Holton, arid Louis Leverone are planning to be back, and will probably bring some of the other members of the class along with them.
Word has been received from Mathew W. Bullock of the death of Arthur H. Jeffreys on March 10. No details were received in time to give a full report in this issue. Jeffreys was a non-graduate, leaving college at the end of his sophomore year. He died of pneumonia.
Within a week's time the members of the class will receive a bulletin of progress for the reunion, and from preliminary reports already received by the reunion committee we shall have a large number of the men back with us in June.
Secretary, c/o Tifft Bros. 1387 Main St., Springfield, Mass.
