More news about "Bishop" Niles' family. His daughter Katharine, a sophomore at Sweetbriar College, recently brought honor to our class as well as to her family by acquiring "Dean's List" rank. "Bishop" is said to be exhilarated.

The Secretary is happy to report a renewal of contact with Dr. Albert P. Tibbets, whose present address is 1801 Eye St. N. W„ Washington, D. C. The Doctor writes that he went to Washington in 1906 to enter the George Washington University Medical School, and that with the exception of 21/2 years in the Navy during the war he has been in Washington ever since. Until quite recently, he has been connected with the George Washington Medical School and Hospital. The last two years he has served as professor of oto-laryngology. Dr. Tibbets married in 1913 and has two children, both boys. The older is 19 and is in his second year at the Virginia Military Institute. The younger is 12, and attends junior high. Since the Tibbets family spend part of their vacations in Maine and New Hampshire, perhaps we shall have a glimpse of him and renew old acquaintance.

Sam Bartlett writes "for the first time inyears, 'O7 is going to have a class dinner inNew York on Thursday, April 26." Unfortunately, this notice will not be pub- lished until after the first dinner has been held. The notice indicates, however, that this is simply the first of a series of class dinners, and New York '07 men will welcome classmates visiting New York from any part of the country. If you plan to be in New York, and would like to attend a class gathering, write Sam Bartlett, care of the Dartmouth Club of New York.

Classmates and friends of "Shorty" Edwards will be distressed to learn of his death at Longmeadow, Mass., on March 14. Steve and Deac Leonard attended the funeral services at the North Congregational church in Springfield on the 16th. Burial was at Montpelier, Vt. Expressions of sympathy were sent to Mrs. Edwards from the class. In another section of the MAGAZINE will appear a full account of Shorty's life and activities since graduation.

George Howard's friends sympathize deeply with him in the loss of his wife, who passed away at Southern Pines, N. C., Friday, February 9.
