Samuel F. Main '38, son of Charlie Main '07, is a member of the cast of "What Price Glory" presented by the Dartmouth College Players in the Little Theater on April 18.
Bill Minsch boasts that he has never troubled a class secretary with items about himself because "nothing importantenough to report has ever happened tome." On Wednesday, April 17, his daughter presented him with a grandson. The boy's name is Nelson Leighton Bond Jr. and although his father is a Lehigh graduate, Bill seems to think that his grandson will be a Dartmouth freshman about 1952. Actual and prospective grandfathers please take note!
Here is another item of interest about Bill Minsch's progeny. His son has recently been selected to run the "Undergraduate Chair" column in the ALUMNI MAGAZINE.
Herb Mitchell's son Hamilton has recently been selected by the freshman class as a competitor, otherwise known as "heeler," for one of the athletic memberships.
Sorry to report that Bill Smart and his wife have had more than their share of illness this winter. I understand they are fully recovered now.
A report from Dick Southgate, who rooms in the home of Mrs. Parker, a sister of Harry Storrs, indicates that Harry is very busy and very happy in the management of the large institution of which he is the executive head. His older boy, Dick, is at Pawling and expects to enter Dartmouth this fall. A further report from Dick Southgate is that Sam Bartlett has recently moved his home. We don't know to what point, but we hear rumors that Sam is much involved in gardening.
