Six one-act plays written by Dartmouth undergraduates will be presented by the Experimental Theatre during the month of May. The original plays chosen for production are The Delinquents and The KidBrother, both by Maurice H. Rapf '35 of Los Angeles, Cal.; Anchors Away by Harry E. Wheelock '34 of South Bend, Ind.; Go Down Moses by Jerome H. Spingarn '35 of Jersey City, N. J.; Little Street of the Landof the Gods by Harry S. Ackerman '35 of New York City; and Cowards' Lives by Richard E. Lauterbach '35 of Los Angeles, Cal.
These six plays were chosen from more than a score entered in the annual play contest conducted by the Experimental Theatre under Prof. Ernest B. Watson. Other plays receiving honorable mention by the committee of judges were End ofNothing by Edward L. Brown '34 of Portland, Ore.; Small Glory by Jerry A. Danzig '34 of New York City; The Silver Punchbowl by the anonymous Eleazar; and Blackand Golden by Edward L. Hilton '34 of Chicago.
The award of three prizes of $100, $25 and $10 will be made by the judges after the six winning plays have stood the test of actual production.
