GREEN KEY PROM
May 1934

Diverted only by hour exams and inexpert carving on senior canes, attention is now concentrated upon the approaching Green Key Prom, May 4 and 5. Hopeful with the second May Prom scheduled in as many years, Dartmouth socialites are now ready to believe that the Administration has forgiven or forgotten, and that Spring House Parties will be an annual Hanover event once more. Parkhurst, following its highly successful action of turning Carnival regulation over to Palaeopitus, plans to continue student self-regulation by letting individual houses be responsible for their own Green Key parties.

Fraternity houses will not be permitted to hold dances on the night of the 5th. Thus the' College social program will be coordinated and the Key given a deserved monopoly on the evening of their Prom. The Prom this year will not mark the emergence of the freshmen from a year's slough of non-social activity, for the '37 boys have already made their debut upon the Hanover plain at Carnival time with their own dance and their own dates!
