A Dartmouth graduate of the Class of 1918, William B. Wright, had encouraging words for both housewives and gourmets in an interview recently reported in the Pasadena Star-News. Manager of a large Nevada ranch and a second-term President of the National Livestock Association, Wright speaks with considerable authority on the meat situation.

He spoke encouragingly last month when he pointed out that the country now has 80,000,000 head of both beef and dairy cattle and stated that the livestock association is aiming at making more meat available for the modest budget family as well as the well-to-do. For pork chop lovers, he also held out hope, stating that hogs would soon be as plentiful as cattle.
