On Tuesday evening, May 8, Thirty-One of New York held a testimonial dinner to Red Rolfe at the Dartmouth Club. Charlie McAllister presented Red with a walleta token of recognition from those present. Red answered all manner of questions fired by the group and told a number of grand baseball stories. When the Yanks hit your city, don't miss this opportunity for a real get-together. We had one of the largest turnouts we've ever had. Lloyd Wilson is also with the Telephone Company at White Plains, N. Y. Ed Maas is a reporter in Asbury Park and complains of having to review all the movies. 'S tough.

Don Crane ex'31 also has two children. He became the father of boy twins about two months ago. They are Don Jr. and Doug. I believe they are the only original class twins.

Beanny Thorn knows more about this class baby situation than anyone. He explained to me once and as I remember girls don't count. If you'll send a news letter and your contribution to the Alumni Fund Hudsonwards, he'll give you the inside dope.

Jack Ewing backs his claim to the only original class baby with this snapshot.

Nancy Ellen, born October 12, 1931, appears on the right, and on the left we have the Ewing son, Frank, who is now more than a year old. Father Ewing says picture; doesn't do them justice, but they still look like two fine kids to me. Jack is working hard in his father's hardware business. Address: 104 Garfield Court, Olean, N. Y.

From the University of Michigan Law School Johnny Martin writes: "I can't tellanything about where I stand as a buddinglawyer since we don't know our status untilthe exams come in June I hopethat during the summer 1 will be able todo some campaigning in the senatorial elections." We prophesy that Johnny will soon be joining the ranks of married men.

Ned Stanford ex-'3i graduates this June from "America's greatest cow college." While in Chicago at Eastern he saw at an alumni luncheon Sey Burge of Rush Medical School, Johnny Goodwillie, and Ozzy Bliss. "That afternoon I stepped into anelevator in the Presbyterian Hospital onlyto find Dr. Joe Rushton sharing the samelift. Scarcely time to answer 'Fine! How'reyou?' before I had to leave, with Joe squinting a knowing professional look after me(which Herb West would gleefully interpret to say, 'Ha! Red Rolfe mentioned that Larry Mylly kangas' pitching arm had come back and that he is coming along fast. Incidentally, if you don't see the New York papers and have been wondering about Red, boils and a sprained ankle kept him from the line-up for a while, but he's now playing again and is better than ever.

Your traveling secretary, Jack Warwick, is out in Hollywood signing up movie stars for one of his radio programs. He's been out there for more than three weeks and doesn't seem to be planning to return for some time. He's had dates with Evelyn Knapp, Lois Wilson, Jean Parker, Nancy Carroll, Mary Brian, and others. Is he thriving on it? "This is damned swell country it's made me feel like a different person—the food is wonderful—and the sun'sout every day."

My own gypsy-footing days are over. Hard at work trying to make a temporary job permanent at Conde Nast Publications, N. Y. C.
