Nine men of the class gathered at the Dartmouth Club in New York City for the regular June luncheon; these included Bunker, Bishop, Jack Dowd, Charlie Kimball, Hastings, Lyon, Ted Morehouse, Harry Gilmore, Joe Raphael, Warren Rugg, and Oliver Harris. Gillie read a letter from Frank Halliday telling of having met Bishop '95 at a Dartmouth meeting in Washington. Frank asked him if he was related to Bunker Bishop 'ox, and the reply was, "Young man, I am BunkerBishop, and that Bishop in your class carried that name through false pretenses If any of you readers think this put the pseudo-Bunker in his proper place you are all entirely disappointed.

A note from Ros Bogue from Lansing, Mich., states he is planning on being in HanoVer next June for the reunion. That speaks volumes of loyalty and spirit, and certainly sets a good example to those of us near by. We certainly will list Rosas number one man to sign up for the reunion.

Doug and Mrs. VanderHoof returned from their delightful cruise to South Africa and South America on Easter Sunday, just in time to entertain the Dartmouth alumni of Virginia, with Hoppy as the principal guest, at their home, "Windemere." A clipping from the Richmond News Leader has an interesting picture taken at that time of Hoppy, Van, and Charles Rich of the class of '75, who you will remember was the architect for many of the buildings about the campus. Van was reelected president of the Association.

The congratulations of the class should go out to Gillie for his wonderful work with the Alumni Fund the past year. To make a record such as he has done is an achievement worthy of note, especially in these times, and with the record of Irving French behind him. In all 108 men of the class contributed, the largest number ever to come across.

At Commencement in June Deacon Hildreth, Steve Stevens, ancl Jim Higgins were the only '01 men noted at the alumni luncheon, except Hoppy, who of course was the head table, and who gave one of his usual interesting, and instructive talks. Jim's boy, Jim Jr., graduated this year. Doug VanderHoof was elected vice-president of the Alumni Association for the ensuing year.

Dr. "Ned" Calderwood served as toastmaster at the annual dinner of the alumni of the Medical School of Boston University, held in Boston last Spring.

"Tom" Bishop, Bunker and Pearl's old- est boy, was married June 22, 1935, to Miss Margaret Elizabeth Nimmo, at Brooklyn, N. Y.

On June 18, 1935, Florence Gene Ward was united in marriage with Dudley W. Orr of Concord, N. H., at St. Stephen's church, Lynn, Mass. Mr. Orr is a graduate of the class of 1929 and is now serving as assistant attorney general of the state of New Hampshire.

Everett M. Stevens Jr. has entered Tabor Academy, Marion, Mass., after a summer at Camp Sargent, Merrimack, N. H., where he served as junior counselor.
