The younger generation of '06ers are moving along. On May 4 Joyce Edith Tourtellotte was married to Joseph Samuel Piro in St. Patrick's Church, Vancouver, B. C. On July 6 Henry Richards Elmer, Jr., appeared on the scene, tipping the scales at 7 lbs. 15 oz.; he is the son of Mary (Chellis) Elmer and the grandson of Con and Grace Chellis. And on July 27 Esther Redman was married to Frank Allen Lucy in the Church of the Ascension in New York City.

Beginning June 3, Ransom W. Morse, Incorporated, has been located at One Wall Street, New York City, as the fruition of his twenty years in the investment business. For eighteen of these twenty years he was associated with Harris Forbes & Co., and Chase, Harris Forbes Corp., until its dissolution, and for the last two years with R. H. Johnson & Cos., Inc. He writes:

"During the recent years of constantlychanging values my work of protecting investments and salvaging doubtful and defaulted securities so that incomes may bemaintained, has convinced me that carefulstudy and alertness by one experienced insecurity values is vital for the protection ofan individual or institution in purchasing, selling or holding securities. The desire forcomplete freedom to do this for thosewhose confidence I already have in thecare of their investments, and all otherswho may consider my experience of valueto them, is the reason I have establishedmy own company. Ransom W. Morse, Incorporated, will carry no stock of securities, so that its recommendations will bebased solely on the requirements of theinvestor."

Gus Ayers, who is still with Six Companies, Inc., building Boulder Dam, writes regarding his sons as follows:

"One has graduated from 'Cal. Tech,'and one this year from Southern California. The next one will probably gradu-ate from University of Washington. WishI was nearer Hanover so I could have atleast one from Dartmouth."

Dan Carr, who has been unable to work because of illness since April, 1934, writes that he is improving and expects to be able to go to work again this fall.

Harold Stanton, who had a complete breakdown in health a year ago, went to work again in the winter, but evidently too soon, for in May he was again taken ill and has been confined to his bed for a good part of this summer.
