Blaik Luncheon—During the summer Coach Blaik came home to Dayton for a short visit, at which time a small group of alumni met with him at a most enjoyable and revealing luncheon. The pledge of secrecy made there cannot be broken here, but we yearn with Blaik for a tackle and a couple of backs.
Transferees—For over a year Harold B. Doty '18, and Marshall L. Godman '19, have been with us. Both men are deputies of the Ohio Building & Loan department, and are ably working out the local mess into which these financial institutions have involved themselves. Cleveland's loss is our gain.
Nuptials—September 5th is now another day that Wilbur G. Kennedy '27, must annually remember. On that day he was united to Miss Hannah Jane Rice, sister of James W. Rice Jr. '31, and left for an extended honeymoon down the St. Lawrence. There is a threat that the couple will visit Hanover before returning to their permanent residence in Dayton. Wilbur is an active agent with the Northwestern Life Insurance Co. here.
