The Manchester (N. H.) Union, issue of Oct. 21, had the picture and an article on Junkins under the heading, "Father of '87," with brief account of his life and activities, stressing his interest in and benefactions to the class, the college, and his fraternity.

The annual dinner of the Eighties at the City Club, Oct. 26, Boston, brought together nineteen men. A. E. Watson '83 presided. '85 was represented and ably by Bayley. Others present were: from '87 Burnett, Cushman, Gage, Howland, Junkins (and his son Page Junkins '14), Merrill, Quint, Rice, Sanborn; from '88 Cate, Dunlap, Gregory, Livermore, Lougee; from '89 Blakely and Bartlett. The dinner was followed by a frank discussion of the political situation and outlook. By request there was an expression of opinion regarding the Orozco murals. Thanks are due to Sanborn for arranging details of the dinner. A resolution of sympathy for Knight was passed before adjourning. Those fortunate enough to be present at New Haven a week later doubtless recalled the visit of Yale in Hanover in 1884.

Gage may be found at the University Club, Boston, this winter.
