Cleveland Elections

Winding up the old year, President Norm Jeavons 'l9 and the Cleveland area prep-school committee gathered together on December 29th for our Christmas Party more than 20 prospective Dartmouthians and some of their fathers. The group was addressed by Alumni Councilor Bill Bemis 'lB and Biff Thompson 'll. Dartmouth movies closed a successful and enthusiastic meeting.

We were fortunate and honored in having Coach Blaik as a most welcomed guest for our annual meeting and election on January 12, 1935. He again left us with the impression that he is a capable, well- liked, sincere, hard working coach and a distinct asset to the College.

The result of the election was as follows: President, E. F. Malz '19. First Vice-President, E. L. McFalls 'l6. Second Vice-President, W. D. Gorton '24. Treasurer, W. L. Christman '29. Secretary, E. J. Petrequin '25. On the Executive Com?nittee we elected one week later W. H. Bemis 'lB, Bruce W. Eaken '26, E. P. Stocker '23, and A. R. Treadway '24.
