Michelet Memorial

The campaing to raise funds for a memorial to the late Robert Henry Michelet 34 will continue throughout the current college year, it was announced in April by George H. Colton '35, president of Palaeopitus. Contributions to the memorial fund are being solicited from undergraduates, faculty members, and alumni of the College, and may be sent to Bobb Chaney '35, treasurer of Palaeopitus, who is chairman of the special committee raising funds.

An oil portrait of Michelet is now being executed by Julius Katzieff of New York and will be hung in the Tower Room of Baker Library as a tribute to the famous scholar-athlete. The portrait is being painted from available photographs.
