Secretaries Convene

The 31st annual meetings of the Dartmouth Secretaries Association were held in Hanover the week-end of May 17 and 18. Business sessions were conducted in Baker Library Friday afternoon and Saturday morning under the direction of the president of the Association, Harold K. Davison '15. The annual dinner was held in Stell Hall Friday evening with President Hopkins and William W. Fitzhugh Jr. '35, secretary of the senior class, as speakers. At that time the awards for the "best class and best club secretaries" were announced for the year and were given to James C. Davis '19, and Leon I. Rothschild '24 who is secretary of the Dartmouth Club of Southern California.

The opening meeting on Friday was adjourned at 4:30 to the President's house where President and Mrs. Hopkins were hosts to the secretaries at an informal reception.
