The class is most interested in the announcement of the marriage on October 22 in New York of Mr. Thomas C. Ham and Mrs. Kate McC. Randall, widow of our beloved classmate William J. Randall. On their honeymoon they attended the Dartmouth-Harvard game and the class round-up at the University Club in the evening. After a brief visit with Dr. Hale Ham, the bride and groom continued on a trip into New Hampshire, spending a day or two with Dr. and Mrs. H. L. Johnson at Franconia. The Hams will be home at St. Davids, Pa., following a reception on November 14 at St. Davids Country Club.
Mr. and Mrs. Guy C. Richards spent the summer at Baker's Island off Marblehead coast. After a week's sojourn at Lake Mohonk, they are now located at Longwood Towers, Brookline, for the winter.
Frank T. Hodgdon of Hannibal, Mo., attended the bankers' convention held in San Francisco this fall.
Rev. C. A. Jaquith of Tulladega College, Ala., although unable to attend our Fortieth Reunion, was able to visit New England during the summer. Besides preaching and teaching, Jaquith is responsible for the issuing of The Talladegan, the college magazine.
A '96 round-up was held at the University Club in Boston October 24, following the Dartmouth-Harvard football game. A suitable private room with piano was secured and a satisfactory dinner served to a family party of 21. There were present L. S. Cox, daughter and friend; A. H. Cummings, wife, daughter, and five friends; H. L. Johnson and wife; G. C. Richards and wife; H. D. Lakeman and wife; T. C. Ham and wife; Philip Young and Carl H. Richardson.
The class will be sorry to learn of the death of Mrs. Herbert A. Warden, which occurred June 7, 1935, at her home in Newburgh, N. Y. Mrs. Warden suffered a shock a month or so before her death. Before her marriage she was Ella F. Todd. Surviving her, besides her husband, is a daughter, Mrs. Archie Stewart, and two grandchildren. The class was happy to have Mrs. Warden with us at our reunion in 1931.
Last year I. J. Cox of the faculty of Northwestern University made his third trip to Chile to finish up some work on the constitutional development of that country. A special appropriation from the Social Science Research Council made it possible for him to do this work.
Lucy Eleanor Frost, our Class Baby, and daughter of Gaius B. and Bertha W. Frost, graduated this year from the University of Vermont. Miss Frost was offered a position in President Bailey's office following im- mediately after her graduation.
Frederic B. Eaton has taken up his abode at St. Petersburg, Fla., and is much interested in real estate in that state. His new address is 646 Sixteenth Ave., N. E.
George E. Lake of Claremont, Calif., also unable to be with the class at its reunion in June, managed to visit New England during the summer. He called on Lakeman while in Portland.
