Through the good services of H. C. Pearson, secretary to the Governor of New Hampshire and secretary of his Dartmouth class of '93, full information can be passed on to alumni regarding the election of alumni to New Hampshire state offices.
Alvin A. Lucier '18 mayor of Nashua, Democrat, was elected member of the executive council from the fourth district. Dr. Robert O. Blood '13m, Republican, of Concord, and Austin L. Calef '93, Democrat, of Barrington, were elected to the State Senate. Willoughby A. Colby '18, Republican, of Concord, was re-elected solicitor of Merrimack County.
Leading members of the 1937 House of Representatives will include George R. Scammon '23, of Exeter; Walter A. Pillsbury '26, of Derry; Warren H. Butterfield '27, of Concord; William J. Ahern '07, of Concord; Robert H. Sanderson '11, of Pittsfield; George W. Boynton '06, of Hillsborough; Blaylock Atherton '22, of Nashua; Edgar H. Hunter '01, of Hanover; Fred A. Jones '06, of Lebanon.
