MORGAN STANLEY 8C COMPANY announce the election of Sumner B. Emerson as Vice President." To the Philadelphia Dartmouth contingent and to his many friends throughout the country who read this announcement in all the leading papers several weeks back, it meant that Sumner had "arrived." In the financial world his new job is just about "tops." Past president of our Association, present member of the Alumni Council, we send him over to New York with our unanimous congratulations and best wishes. When the New York Club comes to know him as we have, they will appreciate how great has been our loss.

When these notes are published the Princeton game will have come and gone. As these are being written, however, President Crouter '24, with the assistance of Ernie Wright '28 and Bud King '33, is putting the last touches on preparations for the annual rally the night before, and handling ticket applications for the game itself and the Special Train from Philadelphia.

Newcomers to town who have been making a regular appearance at the weekly luncheons include Thomas F. Cass Jr. '34 and Harold B. Roitman '35. In fact, Hal has even taken up his residence at the Club.
