President Speaks

President Hopkins opened his annual series of alumni addresses before the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Manchester N. H„ on the evening of January 22. At the same time, Coach Earl Blaik began a series of appearances that will carry him throughout the Middle West during February and early March.

Although the remainder of President Hopkins' schedule has not been completely settled, he will speak at the annual dinner of the Boston Alumni Association on February 25, and two nights later will be guest of honor at the annual dinner of the New York alumni.

Coach Blaik's western tour will open February 14 at Chicago, where he will be the principal speaker at the Dartmouth Night celebration. His other appearances will be at Minneapolis on February 16, Omaha on the 19th, Denver on the 21st, Kansas City, Mo,, on the 24th, Tulsa on the 26th, and St. Louis on March 2.

Dean Chamberlin '26, assistant to the Dean of Freshmen and director of athletic information, will be the Dartmouth Night speaker before the alumni of Stamford, Conn., on February 14.
