The freshman hockey and basketball teams continue along their undefeated ways, Herb Gill's yearling skaters having closed their season with a record of six wins and no losses, and Chick Evan's firstyear courtmen having compiled to date a record of five victories in as many contests. The freshman hockey team climaxed its season by downing the strong St. Paul's six at Concord, 3 to 2, and followed this up by swamping Nichols, la to o, in its final game. The team is continuing practice in the hope of adding a few more games to its schedule. Dave Walsh leads what appears to be the strongest freshman hockey team that Dartmouth has had in years. He is supported by Bud Foster and Gordon Clark in the forward line, Jim Allen and Dick Wyman at the defense posts, and Wes Goding at goal.
In its post-examinations contests, the freshman basketball team has downed Concord Business College, 43 to 21, and Clark School, 40 to 15. The yearling courtmen have yet to meet the Harvard freshmen, Green Mountain Junior College, New Hampton, and Exeter.
