The annual alumni dinner in Boston brought out four '92 men, Clark, Hayes, Lamprey, and Weston. It was Clark's first meeting with '92 men, and he has written me that he had a mighty good time and was glad he went. Your Secretary unfortunately had to miss the dinner—the first miss in a good many years—so can only pass on Clark's comment.
B. Emerson sent me his apology for not attending the dinner, and he seems to have had a good excuse as he was at a meeting in Hartford. Billy is certainly busy with his work in keeping men (and women) in the best physical condition for carrying on the day's work. You all know of his work in Hanover, but you may not have heard that he is also raising the efficiency of the employers of a number of large concerns, such as the Aetna Life Insurance Company of Hartford, by getting them to adopt the best health habits. It's an interesting and valuable work.
