The Dartmouth Plaque, awarded each year to that school whose delegation of three or more men in the freshman class makes the best scholastic record during the first semester, has been awarded for the second successive year to Scarsdale High School of Scarsdale, N. Y. The winning delegation of four men achieved a combined average of 3.1 in comparison with 2.96 made by five Scarsdale graduates last year. The members of the winning group are William Choate Atwater, Robert Hamilton Eaton, Raymond Leonard Frese, and Eugene Leland Weeks.
Second honors went to Pawling School, whose three representatives made an average of 3.0. The other ranking delegations, each comprised of three men, were from Bronxville (N. Y.) High School, 2.86; Hyde Park High School, Chicago, 2.8; West High School, Minneapolis, 2.7; Nichols School, Buffalo, N. Y., 2.6; Passaic (N. J.) High School, 2.6; and Pelham (N. Y.) High School, 2.6.
