As an additional engagement to his spring schedule President Hopkins will go to New Britain, Conn., on May 7 to be guest of honor and speaker at the annual dinner of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Connecticut. The annual meeting, which rotates among the five principal clubs in the Association, was held last year at Hartford.

Another alumni speaker of the month will be Robert C. Strong '24, dean of freshmen and director of admissions, who will address the Dartmouth Club of Northern New Jersey at East Orange on May 5.

During the month of April, Dean E. Gordon Bill, Albert I. Dickerson '30, and Professor William A. Eddy were among the College representatives at alumni gatherings. Dean Bill addressed the Dartmouth Club of Delaware at Wilmington on April al, the Dartmouth Club of Baltimore on April 23, the Dartmouth Club of Virginia at Williamsburg on April 25, and the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Washington, D. C., on April 28. Mr. Dickerson, who is executive assistant to the President, spoke to the Dartmouth Club of Central Pennsylvania at Harrisburg on April 15, the Dartmouth Club of Western Pennsylvania at Pittsburgh on April 18, and the Dartmouth Club of Cincinnati on April 19. He also spoke with Mr. Hopkins at the Philadelphia dinner on April 17, and attended the sessions of the American Alumni Council in Cincinnati from April 20 to 22. Professor Eddy, who is president-elect of Hobart College, addressed the Rhode Island Dartmouth Association at Providence on April 15.
