The secretaries' bulletin is out, announcing the annual secretaries' meeting for Friday and Saturday, May 15 and 16. This is welcome news, not only from the fact that this meeting is so interesting for those of the secretaries who attend, but also it is the harbinger of spring after a long, hard winter. This meeting has long been a very useful function in college affairs.
Henry Austin makes the surprising admission that Florida is not always an "Elysium," for he writes that the past winter is "unlike any other we have experienced since we first came to Florida; a greatdeal of rain and cool weather instead ofwarm sun and clear skies." Such a statement coming from a thorough-going Florida sojourner is almost "heresy," even though it represents the truth.
News has reached the Secretary that "Life" Philbrick has changed his plan somewhat, and will make his trip to Boston and vicinity in June. His classmates and friends will be glad to see him, although he will be a full year late for our Golden Reunion, which he missed.
