Twenty-one years ago . , Another year . ... , Football is now . , How do you start Class Notes after not having written them for five months? Well, let's start off with the Betas.
Sherry Baketel has received a fine promotion in the Union Central Life Insurance Company's organization. He is now the manager of the Philadelphia agency which, I understand, is one of the major Union Central units. Bake has lived in New York for years, and it's going to be tough going to have to shove off, especially leaving his interest in a sizable sailboat to the mercy of Tom Ainsworth and Ginger Bruce, the other partners in the craft.
Last spring's Commencement seems a long time ago, but regardless those who were on hand had a great time. As usual the meeting place of the '2o's was the Mc-Goughran's room. Deciphering the notes I took at the time, we find that Class Agent Bun Harvey discoursed on the Tucker Foundation. The Baketels and Bowens practically never left the premises. The George Winters did attend a "Players" performance, but much against George's better judgment. Doc Miller and Ben Ayres were prowling about in Doc's Rolls Royce. Lee Hodgkins, George Macomber, and respective wives appeared Sunday. Of course, the Fratres in Urbe were represented by Pat Holbrook, Sam Sampson, and John Amsden.
The day after last June's issue went to press, the news was received that on June 9 Bill Fuguet was presented with a son.

If you can possibly get your hands on $8.53, proceed as follows. Purchase a stamp, fill out the form which is probably enclosed with this MAGAZINE and mail it together with the $2.50 you have left to the DARTMOUTH ALUMNI MAGAZINE. Last year only 70 members of the class subscribed, while about 200 members contributed to the Alumni Fund. These two facts may not have any bearing on each other, yet it does seem as though the 130 non-subscribing members, having shown a tangible interest in Dartmouth, would certainly want to read the publication which has been voted by those who know as "the best alumni magazine in the country."
