About twenty men are taking sailing for recreational credit. They leave Hanover three times a week at 1:30, sail on Lake Mascoma for an hour, and return to town about 4 o'clock. The dinghies are kept in the Enfield Outing Club boathouse which was formerly used by the crew.
The club sailed against Amherst on October 3 and won in two straight races. Joseph C. Shenstone '3B won both the races for Dartmouth. Commodore Stuart Allbright '3B placed second in one race and William Broer '4l fourth in the other.
Three Dartmouth crews raced Brown in their Dyer "D" dinghies on October 17 and against Harvard, M. I. T., and Brown in the M. I. T. dinghies on the Charles River on October 24. Dartmouth will be represented by two sailing crews in the Boston Dinghy Regatta on November 7 (using M. 1. T. boats).
