A MORE BUSINESSLIKE note was struck the evening of October 8, with illuminating discussions of organization matters holding the stage .... the clan began gathering at eight o'clock at the Allentown home of Walt Bowlby '27 ... . heralded as a business session, the boys soon got down to cases and before the evening was spent we had, among other things, mapped out a tentative program for activities of the winter season .... planned entertainment and movies were for one evening conspicuous by their absence .... those attending the parley, exclusive of three guests allegedly from U. of P., were Walt Bowlby '27, Bill Bucher '32, Duffy Raman 'l7, Dick Kuhns '29, Andy Marshall '22, Jim Rick '3l, Bob Ritter 'lB, Henry Schnurman '3O, Milt Shultz '3O, Bob Simonds '25, Ken Smiley '2l, Charley Stickney '2l, Art (Al) Zulick 'lB .... a few of the old standbys were unable to come because of conflicting prior engagements or absence from their home bailiwicks .... our newest recruit, Kingsbury Badger '29, now on the faculty of Muhlenberg College, was out of the state on academic matters .... the next get-together will be in Reading, probably at the Maidencreek Fishing & Gun Club, date and details to be flashed to all members at the earliest possible moment.
