A GROUP OF twenty-five members ranging from the class of 1927 to 1937 gathered in Groton on November 7 to lay the groundwork for installing electricity in the Cabin. Two thousand feet of wire were strung and everything is in readiness for wiring the Cabin later in the month, thus insuring electric lights by the time the ski season starts.
Seen at the wire-stringing party and much in evidence at the subsequent touch football game were Dick Sawyer '37, Bill Niss '37, Charlie Sutton '34, Johnnie Hardham '36, and Johnnie Boermeester '31. A Christmas party is planned at the Cabin in December, and later in the winter two events of importance to both outdoor and indoor skiers are scheduled. One will be the annual showing of ski movies at the University Club for those wishing to improve their technique through observation. The other will be a ski dance in Boston which bids fair to rival similar efforts of the D. O. C. in Hanover with a reasonable certainty that the editors will choose this event for another "Life Goes To A Party."
