The 1941 edition of the Dartmouth Green Book made the earliest appearance in the history of the freshman annual when the paper-bound copies reached Hanover for distribution on November 8. This year's edition was the first to be published under the auspices and supervision of the College administration. It was also the first to have two editions, a paper-bound volume priced at $1.00 and a cloth-bound volume priced at $2.00. Somewhat simplified from previous editions, the 1941 book nevertheless contains the photographs, home addresses, prep-school records, and college addresses of all members of the freshman class.
