John Barrett has written of his activities in developing interest in the great Inter- American Peace Conference, held at Buenos Aires in December. He seemed enthusiastic over the results of the Conference. His letter is too long to quote in full. Probably many have read his communication published in the N. Y. Times, January 24, and in other papers. One sentence from his personal letter to the Secretary is: As you asked me directly about theresults of the Conference I want to emphasize as strongly as I can that it was atruly great success, not only for the peace, cooperation, and solidarity of the WesternHemisphere but as a magnificent and convincing example to the nations and peoples of Europe and Asia." .... Ralph Bartlett and the Secretary represented our class at the annual dinner of the Boston Association, January 28. We shared a table with three of our big brothers from '88 and one from '87 A letter from Harry Frost, written Feb. 4, at St. Peters- burg, Fla., tells us that he and Mrs. Frost had already enjoyed four weeks of sun- shine in that popular city. He was looking forward to the annual meeting of the Dartmouth Alumni Association of Florida, to be held February 19. He mentioned these men of the eighties group, Austin '85, Kelly and Newton '86, Gage and Rice '87, Wellman and himself '89, who expected to be present Mrs. Edwin B. Frost '86 had invited all Dartmouth men "to comewith their ladies for tea at her home" in the afternoon before the dinner It seems that any one of us fortunate enough to go to Florida can feel assured that he will find friends there Morrill's new address is 22 Cushman St., Portland, Me It is reported, on good authority, that Frank Reynolds spent a month in the Hartford Hospital early this year, but is now back at work with his accustomed vigor. The modest Frank has maintained a discreet silence in the matter Mr. and Mrs. Wellman left home, January 14, for three months in Florida.
