The Dartmouth Plaque, awarded each year to that school whose delegation of three or more men in the freshman class makes the best scholastic record during the first semester, has been awarded this year to the Erasmus Hall High School of Brooklyn, N. Y. The winning delegation of four men received a combined average of 3.15. It includes Walter S. Bernstein, John W. O'Neill, Frank E. Orenstein, and Owen A. Root, all of Brooklyn.

Second honors went to Central Classical High School of Springfield, Mass., whose four representatives had an average of 3-05. and third honors to Brookline High School, of Brookline, Mass., whose four graduates had an average of 2.75. Other ranking delegations were from University of Chicago High School, Chicago, three representatives, 2.73; Shaker Heights High School, Shaker Heights, Ohio, three representatives, 2.73; Western High School, Washington, D. C., three representatives, 2.66; Boston Public Latin School, seven representatives, 2.65; Garfield High School. Seattle, Wash., three representatives, 2-53' and Loomis School, Windsor, Conn., three representatives, 2.53.
