ON THE EVENING of March 29 a meeting was staged for the benefit of the younger generation. Art Chapin 'O6 secured the Unitarian Parish House and undertook with only moderate success to handle the lights for the movies. Clyde Morrill '12 opened the meeting and after announcing an election of officers for the meeting in June turned the meeting over to Walter Barrows '17 who chairmanned the committee in charge for the evening. "Swede" Oberlander '26 showed movies of the football season of 1936. "Fud" Mather '38 reported on the situation in Hanover from the undergraduate standpoint. Harry McDevitt '07 was imported to lead the singing and brought with him Les Wiggin '11 who romped all over the piano. After refreshments the gang gathered around the piano and only by strenuous reminders that it was getting toward midnight was it possible to disband the meeting.

Wellesley has 11 undergraduates now in Dartmouth of which only 2 were in town on the 29th. Some were with the track team in the south and others were skiing in the north. There were present however several high school prospects whose applications are in and numerous sons of alumni from Wellesley and surrounding towns to a total attendance of about 80. A grand Dartmouth evening was enjoyed.

One of the prerequisites of this job of secretary is to attend the meeting of secretaries in Hanover in May and as you read these notes the undersigned hopes to be "prerequisiting" as above indicated.
