LAST YEAR DARTMOUTH men in Wellesley J began to be so numerous that several thought something ought to be done about it. After two or three informal meetings at which a mailing list was developed to include approximately 100 names of Dartmouth men resident in Wellesley, it was decided to organize the Dartmouth Club of Wellesley. Clyde G. Morrill '12 was elected president. Stanley D. Leighton '34 was elected treasurer. The undersigned was elected secretary. The aims of the organization are to extend acquaintanceship between Dartmouth Alumni in Wellesley, to keep in touch with students from the town who are now in Hanover and to encourage enrollment of likely high school and prep school boys looking for higher education.

A very enthusiastic meeting was held last fall with a dinner at Seiler's in Wellesley Square attended by nearly seventy men. The chief speaker, Bill Cunningham, gave us some inside dope on football matters. Something over $5O was collected as a nucleus for a scholarship fund to be sent to Hanover and added to later.

Plans are now well under way for a meeting on Monday, March 29, at the Unitarian Parish House in Wellesley Hills. "Swede" Oberlander of football fame will be the chief speaker and the movies, "Life of a Dartmouth Student," will be shown. It is hoped that students now in Hanover will save this evening and cordial invitation is given to all school boys thinking of entering Dartmouth to come, bring their dads, and get acquainted.
