For the first time in College history, copresidents of the senior class were elected this spring when Gordon P. Bennett of Swampscott, Mass., and Joseph W. Kiernan of Washington, D. C., received an equal number of votes in the annual class balloting. T. Latta McCray '37 of Dayton, Ohio, was elected vice president; Donald C. McKinlay '37 of Chicago, secretary; and Arthur H. Ruggles Jr. '37 of Providence, treasurer.

Members of the executive committee of the senior class are Robert H. Areson, Upper Montclair, N. J., Mortimer Berkowitz Jr., New York City; Rowley Bialla, Northport, N. Y.; William E. Geraghty, Ticonderoga, N. Y.; Thomas J. Mclntyre Jr., Laconia, N. H.; Arthur C. Sloggett, Honolulu, Hawaii; and Franklin W. Young, Lima, Ohio.

Class marshals for Commencement will be Carl P. Ray, Pawling, N. Y.; Kendall Stearns, South Orange, N. J.; and Henry C. Whitaker, Madison, Wis. Other Commencement officers elected were Henry F. Broadbent, Washington, D. C., Commencement Ball director; William C. Clay Jr., Mt. Sterling, Ky., class orator; William A. Leonard 11, Westport, Conn., sachem orator; Wayne K. Ballantyne, Sea Cliff, N. Y., address to the Old Pine; Cambridge G. Beckel Jr., Huntington, Pa., address to the College; and Patrick O'Sheel, Leonia, N. J., class poet.

Officers elected by the lower classes were: Juniors—Merrill N. Davis Jr., Bradford, Pa., president; Robert E. Archibald, San Gabriel, Calif., vice president; Robert E. Foley, Worcester, Mass., secretary; J. Clarke Mattimore, Harrisburg, Pa., treasurer.

Sophomores—Walter B. Magee, Jr., Passaic, N. J., president; G. Otis Mudge, Amesbury, Mass., vice president; John F. Treadway, Williamstown, Mass., secretary; Robert Alpert, Gloversville, N. Y., treasurer.

Freshmen—John F. Rourke Jr., West Roxbury, Mass., president; Donald J. McCaffrey, Haverill, Mass., vice president: Grafton E. Burke, Fort Yukon, Alaska, secretary; and Robin M. Hartmann, Brookline, Mass., treasurer.
