A SPECIAL committee of the Alumni Council was appointed at the June meeting to make arrangements for a joint gathering of past and present members of the Board of Trustees and the Alumni Council in San Francisco, November 25. The informal meeting will be held at the Fairmont Hotel at 10:30 A.M. and will conclude with a luncheon at the hotel. It is scheduled as the first event of the San Francisco Pow Wow to be held in connection with the Stanford game at Palo Alto Nov. 26.
The Alumni Council committee in charge of arrangements is made up of Richard E. Pritchard 'O4, chairman, New Britain, Conn.; Chauncey B. Baxter '10, Tacoma; and Dr. T. Donald Cunningham 'l3 of Denver. The committee will collaborate with Guy P. Wallick '2l, chairman of the General Pow Wow Committee.
"ELEAZAR WAS THE FACULTY AND THE WHOLE CURRICULUMThe "Eleazar Murals" illustrating Richard Hovey's song and painted by Walter B.Humphrey '14 are nearly completed. Three of the four large panels have been installedin the Rathskeller Room in the new dining center, Thayer Hall. The above section ofthe mural illustrating the third verse of the song, "Eleazar Wheelock" lacked a fewfinishing touches by the artist when the picture was made.
