When a college class is graduated, and enters on post-graduate life, the class reunions one after another are celebrated till, at length, the Sixtieth is reached and the survivors, or nearly all of them, have entered the ninth decade of life. At this time the question of age becomes interesting or, possibly, in a few instances, the reverse. At the present date (September, 1938) all of the larger surviving group of '76 (seventeen) are over eighty. One member is eighty-nine, one, eighty-eight, one, eighty-seven, two are eighty-six, two, eighty-five, five are eighty-four, four are eighty-three, and one, eighty-one. The average age of the survivors is nearly eighty-five. The average of the ninety completed lives is sixty-one, and the average of the two groups is sixty-five.
