THE BIG GREEN eleven continued its victory march at Cambridge on October 22 by defeating Harvard 13-7 in a tight contest that saw Dartmouth's manpower overcome the Crimson's clever defensive maneuvers. Captain Bob MacLeod played one of the most brilliant games of his career and scored the decisive touchdown in the last quarter after Colby Howe had plunged over for the first Green touchdown at the end of a 58-yard march in the third period. A 20-yard pass and four line plunges gave Harvard its score in the final minutes of the game. As a result of a broken ankle suffered early in the game, Larry Dilkes, regular tackle, will be lost to the Big Green for the rest of the season.
