A scale model of Mt. Moosilauke in Warren, N. H„ sometimes called "Dartmouth's Mountain" because the college owns the peak and most of the adjacent ski slopes, is being made by student topographers. With one thickness of cardboard representing 20 feet, the Dartmouth undergraduates will need two hundred layers to represent the 4,000-foot peak of the mountain. When the model has been made to conform to varying elevation, it will be marked to show the various types of vegetation, the timber line, and other geological data. It will also contain in miniature the Dartmouth-at-Moosilauke properties of the Outing Club, including the Ravine Camp, the Summit Camp, five cabins, and three shelters, as well as the various ski trails including famous Hell's Highway.
