The list of freshmen contains the name of John L. Sewall, son of William Sewall '17, and so a grandson of our John Sewall, whose name he bears.
The Secretary has seen a copy of the Phillips Exeter Bulletin for July, which devotes a page to a highly laudatory appreciation of Eben Wallace '20, who has been business manager of Phillips Academy since 1931 and leaves that position to become manager of the Standard Rivet Cos. The article is illustrated by an excellent likeness of the man in question, and the resemblance to his father, our Al Wallace, is striking.
We would call attention to the tribute to Adams in the 1897 class notes.
I am not certain whether mention was made last year of a grandson of Hammond who entered college last year and is now a sophomore. William B. Hammond is a son of Karl R. Hammond '09, who represents the State Mutual Life Assurance Cos. of Worcester in Springfield, Mass.
