THE ALUMNI ASSOCIATION suspended activities for the summer months, but with the first executive committee meeting, plans flew thick and fast. Following is the tentative line-up of events for the coming year: October 12—Columbia Football Special Train, November 9—Princeton Football Wire Returns, November 16— Cornell Football Special Train, December -Hanover Speaker, February—Annual Dinner, February—Winter Sports Outing with D. O. C. of Boston, March—Hanover speaker, May—Spring Outing and Smoker.

It is hoped that this program is varied lough to give all alumni opportunities to enjoy the distinctly Dartmouth atmosphere; knowledge of the exact wants of the 3.000 Boston alumni is scarce. If individuals or groups have ideas for new events or desire repetition of old ones, make your wishes known to any of the following: Lafayette R. Chamberlin, 30 State Street; paul Guibord, Connecticut Mutual Life Insurance Company, 82 Devonshire Street; charles Raymond, New England Tel. & Tel., 50 Oliver Street.

This year the Asociation is giving members a twenty per cent discount on all events for which there is a charge. This discount is a concrete answer to the question "What do I get for my three dollars?" Of course the real answer is that Dartmouth in and around Boston get an organization which is financially able to handle a large mailing list, and underwrite alumni activities in Boston. All members will receive all notices during the coming year. Non-members wishing notices will receive them. Send your dues or requests for notices to any of the above-named officers.

A free graphic portrayal of the Princeton game will be held at the University Club. Beer to soothe hoarse throats will be provided. Show up at a real Dartmouth get-together Saturday afternoon.

The Cornell game special train will provide an ideal week-end for many Boston Dartmouth men a few Saturdays hence. Entertainment and good fellowship guaranteed. Special rates have been arranged with the B. & M.
