Heads Theater Committee

BASIL O'CONNOR 'IS will direct work ofan alumni committee now being formedunder his chairmanship to secure funds forconstruction of the proposed theater andauditorium. The work of this special committee is part of the Alumni Council's program of adding to the gifts and endowmentof the College which is directed by WilliamJ. Minsch '07, alumni trustee. Mr. O'Connor, of New York City, has long been active in Dartmouth affairs in the Metropolitan area and formerly as a member of theAlumni Council. He is now forming hiscommittee, to include alumni in differentparts of the country. No general campaignamong alumni is contemplated in this effortto meet the greatest need of the College.
