In getting material for the fifty-year book four of the second generation have been located in Boston: two daughters of C. O. Cummings, Mary L. Cummings, 580 Commonwealth Ave., office manager of an automobile concern, and Mrs. Ruth C. White, 111 Queensberry St. She has two children, one son a sophomore in Purdue University. Two of Sargent's children, Albert A. Sargent and Mrs. Ruth S. Robertson, 34 Ivy St., Boston, have been located. Albert resides at 987 Main St., Hingham, but his business address is 159 Devonshire St., Boston, Jason T. Phelps & Co., state agents for the National Life Insurance Co., from the presidency of which Howland recently resigned. Sargent's youngest daughter, Katharine, unmarried, is connected with the American consulate, Geneva, Switzerland. There are five grandchildren, one of whom, Albert's son, is a junior at M. I. T. Sargent was reported in December as living at Locarno, Switzerland, and in failhealth except his eyesight. Permanent address, care Baring Bros., London, England.

John Dana Bell is serving his sixteenth year on the faculty of the College of Idaho at Caldwell, but maintains the family residence at 1508 Broadway, Boise, Idaho. Three of his daughters have graduated from the college, maintaining the father's reputation for scholarship. Helen continued to study at Columbia, taking the degree of A.M., and had a year's credit at Peabody Teachers College, Nashville, Tenn., for degree of Ph.D. She married last June Burnard York, and they reside at a suburb of Cleveland, Ohio. His daughter Margery married last year John Pemberton. They reside at Nampa, Idaho. Bell's daughter Enid completed the four years' course in three years, and is at present engaged in teaching.
